    Kelly Nye received an MFA from California State University Long Beach with an emphasis in Small Metals & Jewelry and a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio. She currently teaches in the Visual Arts department of St Francis DeSales High School. Her favorite class to teach is AP Art History and Jewelry and Small Metals. She has previously taught at CCAD and Capital University. She is the 2015 recipient of the Crafthaus/Society of North American Goldsmiths’ Conference Scholarship, the Dr. Judith Temple Scholarship to Arrowmont School of Crafts, and is featured in the book The Art of Paper Jewelry by Marthe Le Van.
